What Comes To Mind: Happy Friday

Yay it's Friday everyone!! Happy Hour time?? LOL. To me it's just another day but when I go back to work I know I will be very excited it's Friday. Speaking of work, I have only two weeks left of maternity leave!!!! I am going to be so sad. This is going to be the hardest thing I'm going to have to do. I will have to leave my baby girl. :( I need to prepare myself mentally and emotionally. Luckily, she will be with her grandmother but still..it's just been me and my baby for 10 weeks and after our 12th week no more just Mommy & Ava all day. I know I'm going to cry, I will need to be strong. I don't know how those women who went back to work did it. My friends who went back to work after maternity leave (yes we work in the same dept)(and yes the three of us were pregnant lol) says its hard. So...any advice?? I really do not want to go to the gym today. I should take a day off, but I really need to look gooe when I go back to work. LOL. Today my daughter and I went shopping. I bought a couple of shirts, which is what I really need. The shirts I have now really do not look good with this new body I have now after baby Ava. A lot of my cute clothes I had to give to my niece!! She now has the body I used to have. Sighs... and she's 13. See she doesn't look 13....and the pants she has on, were mine.

Earlier this week, Ava & I also went to the mall. I had to pick up a refund for a ring I returned. We went to New York and Company and oh man they were having a sale!! I found this cute dress and some cute earrings all for $20!! 70% off!!! Woo hoo!! I also bought some skinny jeans from another store for $19.50. I had to go up a size :( but it's ok. I had no business in that store either LOL but the jeans were cheap and since I'm petite the jeans fit just right length wise. I also bought a pair of nude shoes that I have been wanting (everyone needs and wants at least 1 pair of nude shoes) but could never find in my size (5) at Payless!! So I did pretty good, I bought me a whole outfit under $80. I also bought this eye shadow palette last week from Amazon by Shany Cosmetics. I was so excited to use it since I haven't worn make up since my daughter was born because I do not go anywhere, OMG...I've become my husband... Anyways so the colors are beautiful!!!

I am such a makeup hoarder (also hoarder of shoes, & clothes). I'm always buying makeup, and I usually spend my money at Ulta, Sephora, or MAC. MAC is where I always buy my eye shadows from, but I don't have to anymore!! Some of the colors on this palette look exactly like the ones I already have from MAC. I am so glad I bought this!! So if anyone is looking for a good palette and for a good price check out Amazon.com and look for Shany Cosmetics. I bought the nude palette. I also went to Ulta, surprise. I knew what I was looking for. I went to the NYX section and bought an eye shadow base/primer, which I tried today, so far so good, eye shadow is looking good!!
